Spot Healing Brush and Patch Tool
The Spot Healing Brush tool quickly removes blemishes and other imperfections. It paints with sampled pixels from neighbouring pixel without requiring you to specify a sample spot.
- Select the Spot Healing Brush tool
from the Toolbox palette. - On the tool options bar, select an appropriate brush size.
- Drag with the Sport Healing Brush or click on blemishes until you are satisfied with the results.
The Patch tool lets you repair a selected area with pixels from another area. It combines the selection behaviour of the Lasso tool with the colour blending properties of the Healing Brush tool.
- Select the Patch tool
from the Toolbox palette. - On the tool options bar, make sure that Source is checked.
- Click and drag the Patch tool around an area to be fixed. Once you release the mouse, the selection will be closed and active.
- Drag the selection to an unblemished area that is similar in colour and texture.
